Sorry for the countless times of enduring the endless pain of childhood
But I’m proud of you of how strong you stood,
The way you took on worlds that was meant to diminish your existence,
Older sister, first daughter, first protector, but your life was far in the distance,
Growing up early before your time, learning to navigate the place around,
Never in a million years, living would have you bound,
Live your childhood like you ever could, adventure in the woods in the back of the hood,
Climbing trees was never the girly thing, but boys learned what happened when they swing,
Adjusting to your new form, doesn’t come with a plan, whistling and catcalls from those nasty ass men,
But with a graceful sway, your mental capacity advances everyday,
So as continuously proclaim your stride, don’t take the difficulty of just trying to survive,
Make choices that is best for you, never forget you can make your dreams come true,
Live, laugh and play, don’t let becoming an adult take it away, stay the path that was provided just for you, when the time come you’re know just what to do,
When you become a woman of standards, don’t let your mind fill with anger, you’ll have disappointments more than you can count, believe in yourself, love yourself more, stay focus this journey is yours,
Find that love that doesn’t feel like a chore, protect your peace to the core, then you make this world abundantly yours!
